MPS, ATR-BC, NCPSYA, LCAT, LP . Dedicated to a compassionate, deep, symbolically oriented approach, I integrate a grounded training in psychoanalysis with expressive and spiritual work. My favorite consultant is your unconscious, the real source of information about you. The mode of communication from this layer of your being is through images.

To facilitate communication I use many techniques  Jungian dream work, cognitive and behavioral approaches,  hypnosis, past life regression, art therapy, sand tray, Reiki, yoga, astrology, and familiarity with Eastern and Western mystical traditions.  However, my focus is on what you bring and these are at the service of your quest to evolve and heal.

With over 30 years experience,  my credentials are; I am the Executive Director Emerita and the Director of Education Emerita of the Institute for Expressive Analysis;  a Licensed/ Registered/ Board Certified Art Therapist; a Licensed/ Nationally Certified Psychoanalyst; I teach art diagnosis at three universities in NY;  at the Institute for Expressive Analysis, I teach symbolism and creativity, alchemy, and Jungian dream analysis. 

I have had the honor to teach many students, here and abroad.  My core subject is how to work with and understand symbols and metaphor. I teach regularly at 3 universities in New York City: Pratt Institute of Design, the New School for Social Research,  the School of Visual Art and the Institute for Expressive Analysis. have also taught for the Korean Expressive Arts Therapy Association and Mjungi University in Seoul, South Korea.  The classes I teach are: Art Diagnosis, Symbolism in Art Therapy,  Alchemy,  Dream Interpretation, and Symbolization and Creativity.
