art therapist

Not all things are best expressed in words...the symbolic work of following one's images is a significant way to deepen and further process I  love working in the symbolic realm,  and listening to/seeing my favorite consultant, people’s unconscious.  I have been honing this through for many years, and it started in my training as a creative arts therapist in the 1970s.

I have my Master's degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development. I am a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist.
My experience as a former dancer helps me bring a heightened awareness of body based states to my practice

Director of the Institute for Expressive Analysis 2002-2008, on the board from 1993-2008, I am a specialist in masks and mask work, mandalas, sand tray, and several kinds of hypnosis.
