Claudia has her Master's degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development. She is a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist.

Director of the Institute for Expressive Analysis 2002-2008, she is a specialist in masks and mask work, mandalas, as well as sand tray. She is trained in MARI mandala assessment. A former dancer, she also brings a heightened awareness of body based states to her practice. 

She teaches Art Diagnosis at Pratt Institute of Design, the New School for Social Research, and the School of Visual Arts. She teaches Symbolism in Art Therapy at the New School as well.
